Ayasofya Visitor Guide: Entrances and Dress Code

The Hagia Sophia can be visited both as a mosque and as a museum. There are two separate entrances to the Hagia Sophia: the mosque entrance and the museum entrance.

  1. Mosque Entrance:
    • Muslim visitors can enter the mosque section of the Hagia Sophia for worship free of charge.
  2. Museum Entrance:
    • The entrance fee for the museum is €25 per person. Tickets must be purchased from the ticket office at the Topkapi Palace entrance.
    • During the summer season, the Hagia Sophia Museum is open from 09:00 to 19:00, with the last entry at 18:00.

Dress Code: Visitors are required to adhere to specific dress codes when entering the Hagia Sophia. Please ensure you follow the dress code instructions provided at the entrance.
